The SWD Alumni Association Scholarship Committee is dedicated to advancing the post high school aspirations of deserving students by diligently identifying and awarding scholarships that pave the way for lifelong success. Committed to diversity and inclusion, we aim to empower the not only academic excellence but trade aspirations as well.
Providing scholarships for new high school graduates is essential in unlocking the door to education for deserving students, ensuring that financial barriers don't impede in the pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. By investing in SWD alumni funded scholarships, we not only enable academic success but also foster a a stronger community, empowering the next generation to make meaningful contributions in later years. As an alumni group, we understand the need to support our current students and are determined to give them a head start on their bright futures.

The scholarship committee will employ a rigorous evaluation process, considering academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and demonstrated leadership qualities to identify deserving scholarship recipients.
In recognition of diverse financial circumstances, the committee will conduct thorough assessments to identify and support individuals with demonstrated financial need, ensuring that economic barriers do not hinder access to education.
The scholarship committee is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in scholarship awards, actively seeking candidates from varied backgrounds, career aspirations, and perspectives. Our goal is to provide access to funding to graduating seniors with a multitude of future goals.

Answers to Your Scholarship Questions
As many as possible! Our minimum scholarship amount is $500 per student however the number of scholarships is dependent on the number of donations that we receive.
